Bernard family is an old Burgundy family settled down in Fixin for more than one century. The domain is located 300m from the church dating from the 10th century and houses an old vineyard house from 1634, a hunting lodge from 1703 as well as 18 hectares vineyards in Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Aligoté which are located on several plots in different villages (Fixey, Fixin, Brochon, Couchery, Gevrey, Chambertin and in the High Côtes de Nuits).
Philippe Bernard is oenologist and does vinifications without artifices, only with terroir quality. He will welcome you with pleasure. Farming method is traditional : winter ploughing, reasoned phytosanitary treatments, productivity control, manual harvest as well as selecting in vineyards. The domain is not approved has “Biological” but the farming practising are closed to. Wine ageing in oak barrels lasts from 12 to 18 months.
