Estate history

A family-run estate for 3 generations, Domaine Niero produces AOC Condrieu and Côte-Rôtie Grands Crus. The estate’s wines are cultivated with passion and expertise on the northern Rhône Valley’s unique land.

Rémi Niero, who has been in charge of the estate since 2004, farms his land on terraced slopes out of tradition and respect for the environment. He succeeds his father Robert, who himself took over the small vineyard from his father-in-law Jean Pinchon in 1985.

Be it in Condrieu or Côte-Rôtie, each grape variety (Viognier and Syrah) expresses itself in different ways depending on the land that suits it. The estate’s wines are elegant and harmonious. From vine training to wine production, Rémi Niero and his team do all they can to achieve perfect maturity and quintessential aromas, so they can offer you wines which reflect the estate’s identity and exceptional land.
