  • The Henri Giraud Champagne House

    The Henri Giraud house has been present in the vineyard since the 17th century. Henri Giraud champagne is made up of two grape varieties: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. What sets these wines of the Henri Giraud domain apart is that they are only vinified in Argonne oak, in terracotta or in Stoneware barrels. Furthermore, without stainless steel and with a minimum amount of intervention and sulphur, the creative and natural winemaking process brings Henri Giraud’s wines closer to the truth of the terroir and grape varieties.

    Discover the secrets of the estate on a private tour followed by a commented tasting of a selection of iconic vintage wines. Go on to discover more of the Maison Henri Giraud champagnes with the Chef's table experience – an opportunity for you to taste champagne during a Food & Wine pairing session. This incredible experience includes the tasting of seven different vintage wines served with a suited variety of dishes.

    While staying at the Henri Giraud Manor, you will be given the opportunity to immerse yourself in the terroir, the history and the culture of the Domaine Henri Giraud. You will stay at the Henri Giraud wine estate, in an unusual residence dating from the 19th century.

    The Henri Giraud Manor is located in the heart of the Champagne hills which are listed as UNESCO heritage, in the wine village of Ay, 25 minutes from Reims; the capital of the Coronations of the Kings of France and a few minutes from Epernay; the capital of Champagne with its famous Champagne Avenue.

    In the Henri Giraud manor, two superb wrap-around cellars are dedicated to therapeutic applications, chalk and clay baths, heating tables and relaxing modelling with seed oil.

    Another way of discovering the terroir is with our Craÿotherapy treatment for two. Experience taking a gentle warm bath whilst applying a skin chalk treatment from Aÿ. This local chalk is renowned for its softening, energizing and soothing properties which comes with a delicious glass of Champagne. The treatment ends with a 15-minute massage. Duration of the treatment - 1h30.
