Château de Tracy, 600 years of family history

Château de Tracy is a family-owned vineyard, taken over by Count and Countess Alain d'Estutt d'Assay in 1952, and now run by Juliette d'Assay. Juliette has taken over the estate, perpetuating  the spirit of quality and excellence that has always prevailed.

She makes every effort to produce wines that are as faithful as possible to the terroirs cultivated by Château de Tracy by practicing natural viticulture and winemaking methods that allow the sauvignon grape variety to express itself.

Château de Tracy produces dry white wines from the appellation of Pouilly-Fumé, made entirely from the White Sauvignon grape variety. The wines are vinified and bottled at the estate and marketed in France and around thirty countries.

The style of Château de Tracy wines

In order to fully express the characteristics of Château de Tracy's terroirs, the entire vineyard is managed biodynamically, with special care given to the balance of the soil, vines, and ecosystems. The vines are also in their final year of organic conversion.

The identity of Tracy is built upon the creation of the most honest wines possible, wines of purity and precision achieved through meticulous work and a northern and continental climate that is perfectly suited to Sauvignon grape variety cultivation.

The wine-estate offers different cuvées, such as "Mademoiselle de T," a tender and explosive wine, and the historic cuvée of Château de Tracy, a generous wine. Château de Tracy also produces two single vineyard cuvées: "Haute Densité" and "101 Rangs".

Since 2016, Château de Tracy has been labeled "Vignobles et Découvertes" (vineyards and discovery), offering a wide range of activities to help visitors appreciate the specificities of the estate's wines and explore the appellation. From simple visits and tastings to guided walks in the vineyards with a cold meal at the estate, it's a perfect food and wine pairing experience!
