5 Bis Rue Jules Rathier, 89800 Chablis
It was in 2013 that Frédéric Gueguen and his wife Céline Brocard created the Céline & Frédéric Gueguen Estate. With a deep attachment to their family roots, they built a new estate and, in turn, wrote a new chapter in the history of wine.
Located in both the Chablisien and Auxerrois vineyards, the estate is divided into 35 different plots and covers 36 hectares, on a Kimmeridgian subsoil formed in the Jurassic era, covering the most qualitative sectors of the region.
At Domaine Gueguen, the owners define themselves as "artisan" winemakers. They craft true, unadulterated wines, with a vintage effect that reflects everything that happened in the vineyards and the manifestations of Mother Nature and the climate! All wines from Domaine Gueguen are characterized by their freshness and sincerity.
The estate's wines are distributed between the Chablisien vineyard (from Petit Chablis to Chablis Grand Cru) and the Auxerrois with a multitude of grape varieties (Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Aligoté, Sacy, Pinot Noir, César) and terroirs.
Embark on a discovery of the Chablis vineyards with a 45-minute stroll to understand the winemaker's work and the secrets of winemaking in the heart of Chablis Grand Cru. Upon your return, you are welcomed to the cellar where you can taste the wines of Chablis and Burgundy.
