53 Route de Beaune, 21220 Gevrey-Chambertin
In 1919, Arthur Trapet decided to buy his first plot in Chambertin. Days after days, seasons after seasons, Maison Trapet works to carry on this royal vineyard. In this splendid ground flows the blue blood of Pinot Noir. Its geological composition is complex and the wine has a remarkable balance.
Today, the Alsatian winemaker Andrée Trapet keeps up her parents’ work in Alsace and in Gevrey. Fervent defender of biodynamic farming and despite her husband pleas, she tries to convert the whole vineyard to this method.
Maison Trapet would like to share its love of wine and vineyard. From now on, the house offers a guest table where you can come and taste wines from the property served with an excellent lunch comfortably sited down by the fireplace.
