In the heart of this village, with its exceptional heritage, discover the Ramparts and the14 charming cottages located within the fortifications :
- 6 « luxury gites » in the part of the fortications which were built in 1291: 4 of them are situated in an old Renaissance house built in 1580. The property faces the famous Schoenenbourg vineyards ,in an adjacent house dating from the 17th century 2 other apartments complete the series. A small medieval garden adds an exquisite touch to this original ensemble.
- The « gîtes of the rampart » built in 1500 : a series of romantic cottages beautifully restored and decorated in Alsatien tradition. These « gites » are located on the second part of the ramparts which were completed in 1500 and their west walls are part of the fortifications. These are half-timbered typical Alsatien houses. and are are located in a quiet area, away from the major tourist spots.
- The 5 « gîtes du vigneron » are in the upper part of the village : 4 apartments located above the wine cellar.
