Edmond Barnaut , heir to a lineage of ancient wineries, founded in 1874, the house that bears his name and is now in the hands of the fifth generation, in the person of Philip Seconded. The vines, conducted on the basis of rational control, covering 16.5 hectares including 10 planted with Pinot Black, 5 in Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier in the rest.
All vineyards are located in the Grand Cru Bouzy , and give birth to 6 champagnes.
But the area of Barnaut is also known for its non sparkling wines in the appellation Coteaux Champenois - the Bouzy Rouge and Rosé Bouzy Clos Barnaut. Quality wines, they show another aspect of Champagne to discover.
